RiskBack uses proprietary technology and automated analysis to help merchants, agent platforms and enterprises assess agent intent and fraud risk. This page explains the role of those assessments, their limits and the responsibilities of the businesses using them.
RiskBack is operated by FullBricks LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. Our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service and applicable customer agreements govern the use of the service and information involved.
1. What automated analysis does
Depending on the products enabled, RiskBack analyzes available order context, agent activity and risk signals to produce assessments that support agent-commerce workflows. Those assessments can inform order reviews, configured controls, dispute support, spending oversight and reporting.
The products, inputs and available actions depend on the customer's integration and agreement. An assessment may support a recommendation or a configured automated action. Customers should understand which actions their configuration permits before enabling it.
2. What information is involved
Inputs may include order identifiers and amounts, payment references, agent identifiers and activity, information supplied by authorized integrations, and relevant dispute or operational records. Customer-specific assessments and workflow results may also form part of the service record.
The data available varies by deployment. Customers must have permission and a lawful basis to share it, provide required notices and limit submissions to relevant information. Our Privacy Policy explains data categories, purposes and rights in more detail.
3. Understanding the limits
An automated assessment estimates risk from the information available. It can be incomplete or incorrect. In particular:
- Missing, outdated or inaccurate inputs can change a result.
- Unfamiliar purchasing patterns, new agent behavior or changing fraud tactics can be difficult to assess.
- Legitimate activity may be flagged, and problematic activity may receive a low-risk assessment.
- Results can change as the available context, configuration or service changes.
- A risk assessment cannot establish a person's intentions as a fact or eliminate future disputes.
Customers should consider these limits when setting rules and reviewing outcomes. Financial protection, where included, is governed by the express conditions and limits of the customer's coverage agreement.
4. Your business stays in control
Customers select the products and available settings within their agreement. They remain responsible for their commercial policies, customer relationships, integration permissions and use of assessment results.
Review the actions your configuration permits, monitor material exceptions and arrange human review where the use or applicable law requires it. Consider whether a rule produces unfair or discriminatory effects, and investigate concerns about data quality or unexpected outcomes.
RiskBack's services are intended for agent-commerce risk workflows. Our Terms of Service prohibit using the service as a consumer-reporting product or as the sole basis for employment, credit, housing or other regulated eligibility decisions.
5. Customer data and model use
Processing customer information for automated analysis remains subject to the purposes and restrictions in the applicable agreement. Where we act as a processor, our DPA governs processing on the customer's instructions.
Any use of personal information for model training, improvement or another purpose must have an appropriate legal basis and comply with applicable notices, instructions and contractual restrictions. Sending information to RiskBack does not grant unrestricted permission for unrelated training or reuse.
Providers involved in an enabled feature are subject to the terms applicable to their work. Specific provider, retention and training restrictions should be confirmed for your service in the relevant processing documentation.
6. Questions about an order or assessment
If you are a shopper or an agent user with a question about a purchase, contact the merchant or business responsible for that transaction first. It controls the customer relationship and can review the order, relevant information and its own policies.
Customers using RiskBack can contact us about an assessment or unexpected behavior. Include the relevant business and record reference, explain the concern and avoid sending credentials or unnecessary personal information. We can arrange an appropriate channel for further records.
Where applicable law provides rights concerning automated decisions or personal information, we respond in our own role or assist the responsible business as required. The Privacy Policy explains how to submit a privacy request.
7. Updates and contact
We may update this page as our products and uses of automated analysis change. The date above identifies the current version; contractual changes follow the applicable agreement.
